The shark profile is also compound-curved vacuum-pressed veneer. Tinted toughened Glass top. The central fin is magnetically located and instantly removable for daily practicality. Plus the set of 8 Waveform Lip Service Dining Chairs (6 short, 2 taller end chairs)
The Waveform Lip Servers are visual connections to the breaking Lip of the wave, and finned ‘Boogie boards’ and provide comfortable seating for 8 persons.

(The original prize winning piece has been purchased). This was the very first Waveform Coffee Table - a definitive test to lean how much bending I could induce without failure. Thrilled to see what was possible! The centre cross-piece was the next test - how far could I bend in not only 1 direction but two simultaneously.

Size (550x1150) This table uses constant cross-section 2D curved ends (Plane Waveforms), linked by a ‘compound-curved’ centre panel. This Plane Waveform Coffee table (illustrated) is inspired by surfing since childhood, the angled timber grain on the face of the wave-like shape in the verticals is intended to invoke the sense of timeless awe created whilst surfing deeply within the breaking wave.
